The Allure of Flowers

The Allure of flowers in victorian era: I made a brief video to illustrate these gone days.

Soon, I will be talking about the secret universe and language of flowers in Victorian Era, on Flanêur. I hope to spend a nice day surrounded by others who share the same admiration for the curiosities of this period.

Inertia

DSC_0010.jpg

Today is the end of two days off, I didn’t do anything special in this spare time and I feel so guilty and anxious regarding to my current inertia. I tried to be creative but I couldn’t, I kept feeling blocked and lost, it was like I was afraid of doing something and the result didn’t turned out as I planned in my mind. Feeling a totally strange in your own skin isn’t pleasant at all…” – But don’t despair –  I whisper –,  flowers will heal you, Isa! They always do… “

Fragility

“Some women feel the need to act like they’re never scared, needy or hurt; like they’re as hardened as a man. I think that’s dishonest. It’s ok to feel delicate sometimes. Real beauty is in the fragility of your petals. A rose that never wilts isn’t a rose at all.”
