The Aesthetic of Packaging

Slowing packaging, seeking the harmony and simplicity trough the movements of my fingers. Loosing and encountering myself in this experience of wrapping.  Aspiring for perfection — knowing when it is the right moment to stop. Being content.

When this parcel arrives to its destination, it will be unwrapped and, in this temporal dimension, something magic will happen: slowly what was hidden, becomes unhidden: revealed…

“First, the initially hidden object of quest, whether a view, an artifact, or a person, must be believed to be something positive and worth having access to. If we have a reason to believe that the object in question is not worth exposing, like a Pandora’s box, we will not be enticed to open, unwrap, or reveal it (unless morbid curiosity gets the better of us). (…) The positive aesthetic experience derived from concealment and obscurity, thus, is dependent upon the possibility of uncovering the wrapping and having access to the object of longing. (…)”
